World Master Chefs Society Brand Guidelines

01 Introduction

Introduction

Welcome to the brand guidelines of the World Master Chefs Society, North American Chapter. They set out how the Chapter looks, sounds and carries itself, so every ceremony, film, post and page reads as one order of merit.

Foreword

An honour this old deserves to be carried well.

The World Master Chefs Society is the leading international honours society for chefs, founded in 1947 and carried today across more than fifty nations. The North American Chapter convenes the continent’s master chefs in service of craft, mentorship and the standard that recognition is earned, never bought.

These guidelines hold the words and the visual system that make the Chapter recognisable: the crest, the palette of heritage navy and master’s gold, the type, the photography and the films. They exist so that the brand does not weaken each time it changes hands.

How to Use

Use these guidelines as the reference for anything that carries the Chapter’s name: ceremony programmes, the website, social posts, films, press and partner materials.

Navigate with the menu on the left. Messaging comes first, because the Chapter is defined by what it believes before it is defined by how it looks. Design and Media follow.

When in doubt, choose restraint. The Chapter’s standard is quiet excellence: the work speaks, and the brand should never shout over it.
